Sheltering Arms Children and Family Services is currently seeking a professional and highly motivated Executive Assistant.  The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing an array of administrative support to members of the Executive team.  The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, writing, proof-reading, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multitask.This is a Full Time position in Manhattan. 

Responsibilities Include:

Provide administrative and scheduling support to the Chief Executive Officer, and other members of the Executive Team.
Develop and maintain files, contact lists, meeting records and shared calendars.
Answer all telephone calls, direct calls to appropriate parties, and record messages.
Process all incoming and outgoing mail of the Executive Office.
Coordinate and assist in the preparation of materials for all staff meetings and board-related meetings.
Prepare minutes for all meetings of the Board Executive and Program Committees.
Develop content for the agency’s intranet. 
Coordinate and maintain office and meeting supplies.
Provide event support when needed. 
Prepare files for submission to funders and community partners
Other related tasks that may be assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.
2+ years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational, writing, proof-reading, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Applications.
Must have experience in managing shared calendars and cloud-based documents.
Good telephone manner and mature personality.
