Sheltering Arms is seeking a Administrative Assistant /Data Entry Clerk for our Health Services Department. The Administrative Assistant/ Data Entry Clerk will assist the Director of Health Services with administrative functions which are necessary in the health services department.

 

Essential functions:

  • Responsible for entering health and mental health case specific data in Connections State System
  • Administrative tasks including monitoring medical records for required documents, scanning documents into the electronic medical record and filing records
  • Understand and follows all agency, city, state and HIPAA requirements regarding Confidentiality
  • Other related tasks as assigned
  •  

Qualifications:

  • High School Degree      
  • Experience with data entry
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Connections helpful
  • Ability to work independently, takes initiative, and work well as a member of a team.
