HRIS Analyst

Sheltering Arms is seeking for a HRIS Analyst for the Human Resources Department. HRIS Analyst role is primarily focused on projects/process improvement, system support, and reporting/query running with data and system maintenance responsibilities. The HRIS Analyst position requires broad knowledge of HR operations and regulations, as they are called upon to create efficient and customized solutions based on an HR department’s specific needs and services delivered.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct basic HR systems maintenance (ADP HRB.), data management, generate reports and metrics, provide analysis and interpretation of report data and collaborate with HR team members to implement solutions
  • Troubleshoot, research, resolve or escalate issues as necessary; proactively keeping end-users aware of status and taking responsibility for ensuring outstanding issues are addressed in a timely manner; work closely with IT and Payroll team to resolve matters
  • Generate weekly audit reports, resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy of data in real-time
  • Analyze, develop methods of process flow improvement and procedures and protocol; promote adoption of best practices and standard operating procedures. This includes but not limited to developing automated workflows and self-service features
  • Prepare, process documentation and audit data to ensure data integrity; work with HR team members to resolve data and related problems
  • Evaluate current system or others for utilization, and improving business process and practices to streamline and optimize efficiency. This includes E-time, performance management and training modules
  • Maintain Human Resources web page and other communication channels
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality across all HR systems
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Information Technology (preferred), Business or related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in HR or IT with system administrator and/or analyst responsibilities. Time spent in internships also considered.
  • Knowledge of and experience supporting HRIS modules such as: Core HCM, Compensation, Time & Attendance, Talent Management Systems, Employee/Manager Self-Service, Security, Integrations and/or Report Writing preferred
  • Proficiency using business software applications including Microsoft Office Suite. Must be excellent at Excel
  • Definite self-starter, strong communication skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy and must be able to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to maintain focus and produce project deliverables according to established deadlines
  • Strong discretion in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to adapt and adjust to change, quick learner with technology aptitude, and excellent customer service attitude

Physical Requirements: Must have the ability to complete all standard administrative and support tasks including but not limited to climbing up and down stairs, operation of computers/phones/fax/printer/copy machine, and the ability to lift boxes, furniture, and equipment up to 30lbs. Must be able to travel from the various locations and sites of Sheltering Arms
