Serving working families in the community, this center meets a growing need for high quality, affordable early education, and adds to our widely reputed Early Childhood program.

Sheltering Arms is proud to announce the expansion of the Harriet Tubman center with the opening of a brand new Early Head Start Program! The Program offers free child development activities and educational programs for eligible children and families through ACS-contracted Early Head Start programs, which are designed to provide the skills necessary to thrive academically, socially, and physically. Children's mental health and well-being are a major component of the program.
