Sheltering Arms is seeking a Mental Health Therapist for our Mental Health Clinic in Queens, NY. The Mental Health Therapist will provide individual, group, couple and family therapy in addition to the following essential functions. 

  • Maintains minimum of 40 weekly appointments.
  • Completes intake applications, provides linkage and referral to support services.
  • Completes assessments/referrals for Priority Access (COPS) cases.
  • Completes treatment plans, progress notes, psychosocial in timely manner.
  • Attends case conferences, training, meetings and supervisions.
  • Evening and/or weekend hours as required by department.
  • Other duties as assigned.                                                 

 

Qualifications:            

  • Masters of Social Work
  • New York State Certified Social Worker
  • Clinical experience
